NOVOTEX MANAGEMENT STAFF AND NOVOTEX BOARD OF DIRECTORS

INTRODUCTION In January 2000, the Complainants petitioned the Commission against the unlawful attempt by the Board of Directors of Novotex Company to remove them from office. COMPLAINANTS' CASE The Complainants alleged that they were senior managers of Novotex Company Limited who were forced out of office by the machinations of Nana Ampadu Daaduam II, Mpraesohene. The Complainants alleged that the said Director wrote a letter to the Board, cataloguing a host of malpractices against the senior managers of Novotex Company Limited, who are the Complainants. The Complainants petitioned the Board to investigate the allegations so that they could be cleared or otherwise. The Board of Directors having seen no merit in the allegations, refused to remove the Complainants from office. However, the Complainants alleged that the said Director having failed in his plan, organized some workers to forcefully shut out the senior managers offices and went on demonstration.
