INTRODUCTION The Complainant alleged that his son was arrested by the Odorkor Police for allegedly organising Land Guards to beat up a certain woman. That efforts to get his son released on bail have proved futile as the Police have refused to give him bail. The Complainant prayed the Commission to assist him secure his son's release. OBSERVATION The Commission as a matter of urgency visited the Odorkor Police Station where the son was allegedly being kept in custody to ascertain the facts of the case. At the Police Station, the C.I.D investigating the case informed the Commission that the Kaneshie Circuit Court has remanded the Complainant's son into Police custody for illegally distributing firearms. The Police officer in-charge of the Station showed to the Commission the warrant committing the Complainant's son into Police custody.
