KONADU B. RAYMOND AND MESSERS ANDREWS AGENCIES LIMITED

INTRODUCTION: On 30th May 2001, the Commission received a letter from Konadu B. Raymond an ex-employee of Messers Andrews Agencies Limited in which he made claim for ex-gratia award and other entitlements against Messrs Andrews Agencies Limited. The letter was dated 29th May 2001. THE COMPLAINANT'S CASE: The Complainant stated that he worked as an Accounts Officer with the Respondent for eight years. He resigned on the 25th September 2000. He claimed that the Respondent was refusing to pay his entitlements. According to him the entitlements amounted to ¢20,690,000.00 (Twenty Million, Six Hundred and Ninety Thousand Cedis). Further to his letter, the Complainant explained in a discussion with parties on 12th October 2001 that he worked with the Respondent without any leave vacation for the eight years.
