INTRODUCTION In a complaint received on 5th May 2003 the Complainant petitioned the Commission to intervene to enable him get a share of his late father's property and also maintenance from the Respondent as the Respondent had denied him those benefits. COMPLAINANT'S CASE The 21 year old Complainant alleged that his father died intestate leaving behind 2 houses, a hotel, drinking bar, 3 stores and 2 vehicles. According to the Complainant, he is one of the seven children his father had with three different women. The Complainant further alleged that the Respondent who is the second born of his late father had taken it upon himself as the eldest son to manage his late father's property without assistance of the family elders. The Complainant further alleged that the Respondent gave one of the houses to the three females and left the other house for the four males.
