AYEBI J.A. This is an appeal against the ruling of an Accra High Court dated 14th February 2005 in which the court declined to set aside its judgment of 9th November 2004. On 17th January 2001, the plaintiff/appellants issued a writ of summons against the above defendant/respondent and two others namely the Inspector General of Police and the Executive Director of Serious Fraud Office for the following reliefs: 1. Appointment of Quantity Surveyor to value all works done by the 1st plaintiff on 1st defendant’s house situate at East Legon, Accra. 2. Rescission of the agreement made the 3rd day of June 2000 between the 1st plaintiff and 1st defendant as it was executed by 1st plaintiff while under undue influence of threats to life and liberty. 3. Perpetual injunction to restrain: (i) 1st defendant from making defamatory reports about 1st plaintiff to 1st plaintiff’s bank managers, business clients and priests.
