INTRODUCTION The Complainant was a first year part-time student of the Accra Polytechnic reading HND Secretarial and Management Studies. The Complainant alleged that she was rusticated for one year and her first Semester Secretarial English Paper was also cancelled. FACTS The Complainant alleged that during her first year examinations, she observed that the chair allotted to her was too high and unsuitable for her spine. She noticed there were several spare chairs at the back of the class and therefore she picked one to exchange with the one originally allotted her. According to the Complainant, the invigilator to the examination accosted her and asked her not to pick the chair. The Complainant explained to the invigilator that due to a car accident she had she could not sit on chairs with acute angles.
