INTRODUCTION In his complaint dated 20th November, 2007, the Complainant alleged that his temporary appointment was terminated by the Respondent without due process. He alleged that his termination was unfair. He therefore petitioned the Commission for compensation for wrongful termination. COMPLAINANT'S CASE The Complainant stated that he was temporarily appointed by the Respondent as a Principal Accounts Officer at the Hohoe District office on 23rd April, 2007. According to the Complainant, whilst on duty he received a memo dated 23rd July, 2007 asking him to stay away from duty with immediate effect, the reason being that that he was alleged to be involved in a case of fraud. According to him, he wrote to the Respondent for a hearing but received no reply. However, he later received a letter from the Respondent dated 26th September, 2007 terminating his appointment with effect from 23rd July, 2007.
