RULING On the 22nd day of December, 2008, the 1st Respondent herein who is the Rector of the 2nd Respondent - The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) wrote a letter to the Applicant Dr. Lawrence A. Kannae. The relevant part of the said letter reads as follows: “SUSPENSION OF DEPUTY RECTOR’S POSITION Following my announcement at the GIMPA Assembly on Tuesday, 16th December 2008, the Deputy Rector’s position is hereby suspended until we are able to present a complete report to GIMPA Council and seek its mandate for a workable organizational structure and procedures based on approved statutes. Please endeavour to hand over all affairs of the Deputy Rector’s office to the Rector’s office effective Wednesday, 24th December 2008.
