INSPECTOR JAMES ATTA vs. INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE AND 3 TOHERS

This application is for an order to stay execution of this court’s order delivered on 29th October, 2007 ordering the defendants/applicants herein to pay to the plaintiff/respondent his interdiction allowance pending the final determination of the matter. I have read the motion paper together with the supporting affidavit and all the attached exhibits. As has already been stated elsewhere in this ruling on 29th October, 2007 the High Court per His Lordship Justice S. K. A. Asiedu ordered the defendants/applicants herein to pay to the plaintiff his interdiction allowance pending the final determination of the substantive matter. The defendants/applicants are dissatisfied with the said order, so on 20th February, 2008 they filed notice of appeal against the said order and subsequently filed the current application seeking an order of this court to stay execution of the order pending final determination of the appeal.
