OSENI SULLEY AND KORLE-BU TEACHING HOSPITAL

INTRODUCTION Mr. Oseni Sulley petitioned the Commission against his summary dismissal by the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Authorities and asked for a declaration that his purported dismissal was wrongful, arbitrary, unlawful and unsustainable. He further asked for an order of reinstatement or in the alternative, an order of the payment of damages for wrongful dismissal. ISSUES The issues that were determined in this petition were: 1. Whether or not the Complainant was a party to the illegal releasing of the late Beatrice Otabil's body to the deceased family. 2. Whether or not the Complainant was given a fair hearing by the Committee set up to investigate the matter. 3.
