FACTS The complainant, until his dismissal was an Assistant Lecturer at the Respondent University. In his complaint dated 26 September 2008 the complainant claimed that he appeared before a Committee that investigated certain admission malpractices of some students. Complainant further claims that the Committee questioned him about two particular students and to the best of his knowledge he told them all that he knew. The Committee report, according to the complainant did not indict him for being involved in the admission malpractice. Therefore it came as a surprise when he was dismissed from the University for being involved in the malpractices. The complainant therefore requested the Commission to “look into the ground for my dismissal as I believed [sic] that it has nothing to do with admission malpractices based on the investigation committee's report." The only relief the complainant asked for was for him to be exonerated from the allegations which formed the basis of his dism.....
