AMMA KONADU SARPONG vs. KWABENA SARPONG
The Petitioner herein filed a petition against the Respondent on 16th November, 2006 claiming as follows: a. That the marriage between the parties be dissolved. b. That the Respondent be ordered to make such maintenance payment to the Petitioner pending the determination of her petition. c. That the Respondent be ordered to pay lump sum compensation to the Petitioner to settle her. d. That the Court grants the Petitioner her equitable share of all the properties acquired between the parties during the marriage and which have all been registered or receipted in the Respondent’s name. These are: i. The couple’s original five (5) bedroom house at Kumasi which the Respondent is presently converting into a ten (10) room hotel accomodation. ii. Their five (5) bedroom house, No. 57 Abelemkpe Street, Ablemkpe, Accra. iii. Their other five (5) bedroom house at Abelemkpe, near the matrimonial home which they have always rented out for financial support of the family. iv. Unco...
