BORKETEY LOGOJO vs. THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND LANDS COMMISSION
By a writ of summons sealed in the registry of this court on 7th December, 2009 against the Attorney General, the Plaintiff claimed the following judicial reliefs: a) Payment of Gh¢10,000,000.00 being adequate compensation for the land of late Agote Kwashie (deceased) acquired for the Accra Tema Motorway Industrial area. b) Interest on the said amount. Upon an application subsequently filed by the Attorney General this court by its order made on 18/06/2011, joined the Lands Commission in the suit as the co- defendant. In his Statement of Claim filed alongside the writ of summons, the Plaintiff had averred therein that he is an administrator of the estate of his father, Agote Kwashie (now deceased) who in his life time was the freehold owner of a large tract of land measuring about 27.55 acres lying and situate at North Nungua popularly known and called the Spintex road.
