KINGSLEY K. KWASITSU vs. GHANA SHIPPERS COUNCIL

The Plaintiff herein who was a former employee of the Defendant Council, initiated this action in this court per a writ of summons accompanied by a statement of claim dated 15th May, 2009 for certain reliefs. Pursuant to an order of this court, the Plaintiff filed an amended writ of summons on 24th May, 2011 for the following reliefs: i. A declaration that the summary dismissal of the Plaintiff by the Defendant is wrongful. ii. An order for the re-instatement of the Plaintiff. iii. An order compelling the Defendant to pay the Plaintiff all entitlements due the Plaintiff including salary from the time of Plaintiff’s dismissal, long service award, bonus, leave, education and clothing allowance. iv. Interest on the said entitlements at the current bank rate. v. General damages against the Defendant.
