REBECCA K. SAI (MRS) AND PRESBYTERIAN SECONDARY SCHOOL, OSU
INTRODUCTION Mrs. Rebecca Sai, complained to the Commission on 31st May 2007 on behalf of Jemimah Naa Torshii Sai and Eunice Lartey, all former students in the Respondent's School. In her petition, she explained that the Headmistress of the Presbyterian Secondary School, Osu, Mrs. Dennise Dina Oyi Welbeck, delayed Jemimah Torshii Sai in writing her Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, (Mathematics paper on the 18/05/2007 with the explanation that Jemimah's father, Mr Sai, a former employee of the School failed to hand over properly before he left the School. In the case of Eunice Lartey, she stated that the candidate who happened to also be her daughter was not allowed to write the paper for non-payment of Parent Teacher Association Levy. RESPONDENT'S REACTION In its reaction to these allegations, the Respondent contended that it was the failure of Jemimah Naa Sai's father, a former employee of the school, to hand over properly that necessitated her action.
