RANSFORD MARCELLINUS vs. SSNIT

On 16th February, 2010, the Plaintiff commenced the current action against the Defendant for the following reliefs: 1. A declaration that his dismissal was wrongful. 2. An order compelling the Defendant to reinstate Plaintiff. 3. An order for the Defendant to pay to the Plaintiff all his entitlements due him. 4. Interest on his entitlements at the prevailing Commercial Bank Rate from April 2009 to the date of final payment. On 24th February, 2010, the Defendant entered conditional appearance. It, however, filed its statement of defence on 5th March, 2010 denying the claim of the Plaintiff and went on to counterclaim as follows: a. An order for the Plaintiff to pay GH¢27,541.39 to the Defendant being an amount indebted to the Defendant. b.
