MARTIN OBIRI OKAI vs. MR. NICHOLAS ASANTE AND ORIENS COMPLEX SCHOOL

The Plaintiff herein commenced this action against the 1st Defendant on 9th September, 2009 by filing a writ of summons accompanied with a statement of claim for the following reliefs: a) Payment of accrued salaries from April 2008 to date of final judgment. b) Payment of all statutory entitlements as per the parties conditions of service and/or required under statutory. c) Damages for unlawful/constructive dismissal. d) Any other order(s) as to the court may seem fit. The 1st Defendant by his Lawyer entered appearance on 21st October, 2009. He went on to file his statement of defence and counterclaim on 11th November, 2009 denying the claim of the Plaintiff. On 1st April, 2010 the Plaintiff filed a reply to the statement of defence and defence to the counterclaim. He filed application for directions on the same day. Later the Plaintiff filed a motion for leave to amend its writ of summons and statement of claim in order to join the Oriens Complex School as 2nd Defendant. S...
