NANA YAW ODURO vs. MICHAEL ADUSEI AND THREE OTHERS

On 14th June, 2006, the plaintiff, who described himself as a businessman, operating in Accra and Kumasi, issued from the Registry of this court a writ of summons against the first three defendants claiming the following reliefs: “(a) An order for specific performance against the 1st Defendant in respect of a contract of sale of House No. Plot 1 Block A, Adum Light Industrial Layout Kumasi made between the plaintiff’s solicitor, George Sarpong for and on behalf of the plaintiff and 1st defendant herein for the transfer of all the interest the 1st defendant has in plot No. 1 Block ‘A’ Adum Light Industrial Layout, Kumasi aforesaid unto the plaintiff, as principal of the said George Sarpong as evidence by a receipt dated 22nd November 1997 signed by the 1st Defendnat in acknowledgment of receipt of the purchase price of ¢300,000,000.00 (Three Hundred Million Cedis).
