Gentlemen of the jury, having successfully gone through the trial of the accused persons, Alim Yaao Dauda and Razak Achino, it is now my duty to sum up the deliberations for your further action that will enable me bring the trial to a close. I therefore urge you to listen with rapt attention whilst I direct you as to your next line of action. Accused persons are charged with two counts. The first count is conspiracy to commit murder contrary to sections 23(1) and 46 of the Criminal Offences Act of Ghana, 1960 (Act 29). The second count is on the substantive offence of murder as provided under section 46 of Act 29.
