KWAKU FRIMPONG vs. THE REPUBLIC

On 23 April 2002, the appellant Kwaku Frimpong and three others, armed with weapons, attacked the residence of Albert Mawusi Biga and Ebo Jackson at Lashibi, Greater Accra. They threatened the victims, stole a BMW car and various electrical items, changed the car's number plate, and hid the vehicle in the appellant's hometown. The appellant was arrested following police investigations and confessed involvement. He was convicted by the High Court and sentenced to 65 years imprisonment on each count with hard labour.
