SAANBAYE BASILDE KANGBEREE vs. ALHAJI SEIDU MOHAMED
The plaintiff claimed ownership and possession of a parcel of land at South Ofankor, Greater Accra Region, evidenced by a conveyance from Emmanuel Yaw Nkrumah and registered Land Title Certificate No. GA 17008 dated 31 July 2000. The plaintiff alleged that the defendant trespassed and commenced construction on the land. The defendant claimed to have acquired the land from Mr. and Mrs. Marcus, vendors who allegedly obtained title in 1989, and had developed the land. The dispute centered on the priority of title and possession between the parties and their respective vendors.
