AGNES M. A. DORDZIE FACTS The appellants herein are a brother and children of one Nene Okle Amponsah VII alias Alexander Adormson. Until his death on the 28th of October 2001, Nene Okle Amponsah was the sole proprietor of Nalex Farms. The appellants whom I will hereafter refer to as plaintiffs are personal representatives of Nene Okle Amponsah upon his death intestate. It is contended by the plaintiffs that the land in dispute was a gift to the late Nene Okle. He acquired it from his family for the purpose of fish farming; he therefore registered the land in the name of Nalex Farms. He put up a fence around the land with wooden poles and barb wire and constructed two fish ponds where he reared fish from 1982 till his death in 2001. This project made Nene Okle the proud winner of the best fish farmer award in his district during the national famer’s day celebration in 1986.
