FACTS The Complainant a former employee of Respondents alleged that her appointment with the respondent was terminated upon grounds that she was pregnant and had applied for maternity leave. This allegation was against the background of the termination letter which stated that "due to the restructuring of our company, your services will not be required any more" In response to the complaint, the respondents through their Solicitors denied the allegation and in answer stated that the complainant had a very poor relationship with the staff and customers and that her level of work left much to be desired. This resulted in several queries been issued to the complainant. The respondent in further answer to the complaint said that owing to reorganization of its operations and as a means of cost cutting they had no option than to terminate the complainant's appointment and pay complainant all entitlements due her under the contract of employment.
