JUDGMENT The plaintiff, a former employee of the defendant company, sued it for the following reliefs: 1. A determination that the termination of appointment was unfair, wrongful and unlawful 2. Damages of (GH¢50,000) Fifty Thousand Ghana Cedis for the wrongful and illegal termination of employment. 3. Compensation of GH¢10,000 (Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis) for the willful, unjustifiable and unwarranted violation of the plaintiff right to work and discrimination against the plaintiff because of her gender and maternity. 4. Full repayment of the outstanding loan of Six Thousand Ghana Cedis, the plaintiff collected from SG-SSB Bank 5. Solicitors Fees 6. Costs 7. Any other reliefs the Court deems fit . The issues set down for trial were: a. Whether or not it was lawful to relieve the plaintiff from duty on 23rd February 2012 without having conducted any medical examination on her nor certification from a qualified Medical Practitioner. b.
