The plaintiff, Paulina Effisah, a former employee of the Defendant Company commenced the current action against the Defendant, Tullow Ghana Limited on 8th February, 2010 for the following reliefs: (a) Reinstatement of Plaintiff to her former employment with all the benefits and promotions due from the date of her purported termination of her appointment. Or (b) In the alternative, payment to the Plaintiff an amount of GH¢200,000.00 being compensation for unlawful termination of her appointment. (c) Costs. The Defendant entered conditional appearance on 11th February, 2010 but went on to file its statement of defence on 3rd March, 2010 denying the claim of the Plaintiff. On 26th April, 2010, the Plaintiff filed a reply to the statement of defence and went on to file application for directions on the same day.
