KWAME APPIAH-KUBI vs. PRO-DIGITAL IMAGING LTD.
At all material times to this action the Plaintiff was an employee of the Defendant Company. In or about March, 2010, the Plaintiff was employed as a processer of pictures by the Defendant in charge of development of negative pictures and later became a computer assistant. In addition to his work the Plaintiff doubled as a messenger for the company. In or about April, 2011, the Plaintiff was verbally suspended by the Defendant but was called back to work in June, 2011 and was transferred to Kasoa in the Central Region. On 22nd August, 2011 whilst at Kasoa he received a text message from the Managing Director of the Defendant Company giving him indefinite suspension. He was paid half salary only once and he has still not been recalled from suspension. It is the belief of the Plaintiff that the suspension was used as a ruse to terminate his appointment and being aggrieved, the Plaintiff commenced the instant action on 20th December, 2011 for the following reliefs: (a) A declaration...
