CHRISTIAN GBIKPO & 13 OTHERS vs. PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF GHANA

The Plaintiffs herein who were all former employees of the Defendant Church working on its Agricultural Project at Abokobi in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana commenced the current action against the Defendant on 12th June, 2009 and on 26th April, 2010 they filed an amended writ and statement of claim claiming as follows: a. A declaration that the Plaintiffs are entitled to redundancy payments and end of service benefits as per Article 39 of the terms and conditions of the Abokobi Agricultural Project. b. An order compelling the Defendant to effect redundancy payments and end of service benefits to the Plaintiffs based on Article 39 of the terms and conditions of service of the Abokobi Agricultural Project as per schedule in paragraph 7 of the Amended statement of claim. c.
