The Plaintiff commenced the instant action against the Defendant by filing a writ of summons together with a statement of claim on 18th February, 2013 for the following reliefs: a. An order directed at the Defendant to pay to the Plaintiff forthwith, all benefits, salaries and other entitlements, Plaintiff is entitled to and due him during the period of Plaintiff interdiction and prosecution pursuant to Article 17 of the Conditions of Service for Staff of CEPS dated 20th May, 2013 prevailing at the material time and that governed Plaintiff’s employment with CEPS, Defendant’s predecessor. b. Interest on the said monetary benefits, salaries and entitlements calculated or computable as in relief (a) above at the prevailing commercial rate of 30% p.a. from 12/7/2012 to the date of final payment. c.
