GYAESAYOR, JA In this interlocutory appeal, the parties who are hereby described as plaintiff/appellant and defendant/respondent respectively are litigating over a piece of land lying and situate at Odorkor, Accra. The plaintiff by her statement of claim, claims to be the owner of the disputed land having been gifted to her by her late mother Virginia Aryee. She claimed that the land forms part of the larger land belonging to Virginia Aryee’s father Francis Aryee, a royal of Asere Stool who had earlier on gifted the land to Virginia Aryee. Her mother Virginia Aryee registered her land as number 841/1952 in 1952. It is her case that defendant is religious body whose branch members are based within the area of the land and have trespassed unto the land by constructing a temporary place of worship and an uncompleted building. The defendants have since destroyed the corner pillars planted on the boundary by her mother and also destroyed the foundations constructed by the mother. When.....
