EOCO vs. AUXESIA ENERGY LTD., SOL LUESHING COMPANY

RULING I have listened to parties who have filed various processes laying claim to the amount now in the custody of the Court. This Court had made an order for the amount in contention to be given to Kayode Alade of Sol Lueshing. It was this order that led to contempt applications filed against UT Bank, the Bank that the said amount had been lodged. UT to purge their contempt paid this amount into Court. The said amount in the Cedi equivalent is GH¢949,563.75 which was made out of an existing account. It is this amount which there have arisen various claims. Auxesia Energy said they were not aware of any joinder by Kayode Alade and the amount out of which the GH¢949,563.75 had been paid into Court belongs to them. Sol Lueshing - interested party Kayode Alade argues that the account number quoted by Auxesia Energy is wrong and not the said amount that the GH¢949,563.75 had been paid into Court.
