JUDGMENT By the amended writ of summons and the statement of claim filed on 3rd November, 2011, the plaintiffs claim against the defendants the following: a. Their entitlements for the five (5) or ten (10) years deprived period. b. The 1st defendant be ordered to provide counsel for the plaintiffs the net entitlements of each of the plaintiffs to enable her to compute their gross entitlements with interest on same from either 1993 or 1994 to date at the current bank rate. c. Costs. The undisputed facts of this case are that the plaintiffs were part of a host of police officers compulsorily retried from the Police Service on various dates in 1993 and 1994. The males were retired at age fifty five (55) and the females at age fifty (50). The Police Administration, in retiring the police officers, followed the tradition and practice in vogue prior to the coming into force of the 1992 Constitution.
