JUDGMENT The applicants in this consolidated suit are employees of the Narcotic Control Board (NACOB). They were interdicted from their employment by the then Acting Executive Secretary of NACOB for allegedly aiding the trafficking of illicit drugs into and out from Ghana. The charge of aiding the trafficking of illicit drugs, for which the applicants were accused of, according to NACOB officials, constitutes a misconduct; namely breach of confidence which by article 6.5 of its Conditions of Service could result in the dismissal of the applicants. Their letters of interdiction is dated 12th September, 2011; and their interdiction took effect from various dates in August, 2011. The interdiction was to allow for thorough investigations into their alleged conduct to enable NACOB officials take appropriate and justified decision on the matter.
