JUDGMENT In this suit, plaintiff’s claim as per the amended writ of summons and the amended statement of claim filed on the 15th of November, 2012 is for: a. A declaration that the termination of plaintiff’s employment is unlawful. b. Payment of salary from date of employment to date of judgement. c. Damages for breach of contract of employment. d. Costs. e. Any further order(s) as this Honourable Court may deem fit. The plaintiff is a Burkinabe national with very impressive academic credentials. She is married to a Ghanaian. The marriage is blessed with a son and the family lives in Ghana. She has sued the defendant for unlawfully terminating her employment. Defendant resists her claim and posit that she was not legally employed because she did not posses a work permit to enable her to be lawfully employed.
