JUDGMENT The plaintiff, Emmanuel Fosu Boateng, was until 16TH February 2012, the Head of Credit and Operations Department of the Defendant Company. Before his promotion to the position of Head of Credit and Operations Department, the plaintiff was the Deputy Branch Operations and Credit Manager. The Defendant, on the other hand, is a limited liability Company registered under the laws of Ghana and working in partnership with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The plaintiff’s case is that sometime in December 2011, he was asked to proceed on leave to allow for thorough investigations to be conducted into allegations received against him. Thereafter, on 29TH December 2011 he received a letter from the Head of Human Resource and Administration suspending him from his job for a period of one month without salary.
