TWENEBOAH KODUA vs. THE REPUBLIC

The appellant, Tweneboa Kodua, was convicted for fraudulent transaction in land under Section 34a of the Land Registry Act, 1962 (Act 122). He obtained GH¢2,200 from the complainant, Solomon Antwi Bosiako, by falsely representing that he could secure a plot of land. The complainant later discovered the land belonged to the appellant's mother, who revoked the gift. The appellant was prosecuted after a police report was made.
