OWUSU AGYEMANG PREMPEH, OPANIN AKWASI AGYEMANG, AKOSUA KONADU AND KWADWO KUFFOUR vs. NANA OSEI, KWAME ASARE, COMFORT OPPONG AFRANE, AMMA SERWAA BOBOSA AND YAA ODOMA

Almost seventeen years ago, on 22nd October, 1998, the plaintiffs mounted this action originally against only the first two defendants. However, upon an application by the third to fifth defendants, the court granted them leave and they joined the action on the ground that their late father, one Nana Kwasi Afrane II alias Opanin Kwasi Oppong alias Kwasi Pong gifted two properties in contention, located at Dichemso in Kumasi, to them. They then joined the suit to defend their interests in the properties and also to avoid a multiplicity of suits. It is also relevant to add that the original second and third plaintiffs passed away during the pendency of the suit and were substituted by the current second and third plaintiffs.
