ROCASON VENTURES LIMITED. vs. RICHARD MANSO & ANOR.
The plaintiff, Rocason Ventures Limited, a company engaged in transporting and supplying terrazzo chippings, operated an articulated truck which was involved in a road accident on 28 November 2012 at Menang Junction near New Edubiase. The 1st defendant, Richard Manso, a driver employed by the 2nd defendant, Takoradi Flour Mill Ltd, was driving a vehicle that collided with the plaintiff's truck during an overtaking maneuver, causing significant damage to the plaintiff's vehicle. The plaintiff claimed negligence against the 1st defendant and vicarious liability against the 2nd defendant, seeking damages including expenses for alternative transportation during the repair period.
