MEDIA GENERAL (PLAINTIFF) vs. GHANA BROADCASTING CORPORATION (DEFENDANTS)

I have read the application and the affidavits in support and in in opposition. I have listened to counsel for applicant and respondent. Consideration has been given to the principles governing the grant or otherwise of applications of this nature. I am of the view of that the application should be granted but upon condition. Accordingly the execution of the judgment is stayed on condition that the defendant/Judgment/ Debtor/pplicant should pay to the plaintiff/respondent the sum USD500,000 pending the final determination of the appeal in addition to the costs awarded against the defendant/applicant.
