CHEMICAL FARMS LIMITED AND SILVER FARMS LIMITED (PLAINTIFFS) vs. LANDS COMMISSION (DEFENDANT)

On the 15th of July, 2016, the Plaintiffs issued a writ of summons with its accompanying statement of claim, seeking the following reliefs; a) A declaration that the re-registration of the two parcels of land into the Nii Afutu Brempong Family of Teshie is based on fraud and therefore should be declared null and void. b) A declaration that any document in connection with the above change is fraudulent and of no legal effect. c) Accordingly, an order to the Defendant for the Defendant to register back into the name of the 1st Plaintiff the 61.80 acres of land and into the name of the 2nd Plaintiff the 34.80 acres of land. d) Any other relief deemed fit by this Honourable Court. The facts of the case as is deducible from the pleadings and the evidence are that the Plaintiffs acquired two parcels of land by way of leases from the Nii Afutu Brempong Family of Teshie, the original owner of the said lands.
