This is an appeal launched by the 2nd and 5th Defendants/Appellants (represented by one Counsel) and by the 3rd and 4th Defendants/Appellants represented also by another, against the ruling of the High Court, Agona Swedru dated the 12th of March, 2015 in favour of the Plaintiffs/Respondents. The Defendants/Appellants will hereafter be referred to as 2nd and 5th Defendants and 3rd and 4th Defendants. The Plaintiffs/Respondents will be referred to as Plaintiffs. The first Defendant however launched no appeal against the said ruling. The events that culminated in this instant appeal can be briefly stated as follows:- The Plaintiffs claim to be Apedwahene and Mankralo of Gomoa Fetteh respectively and acting with the consent and concurrence of the heads and family of the accredited elders of the Abor Ewusie Twidan Royal Family and the Essel Amaquandoh Twidan Royal Family of Gomoa Fetteh issued a writ of summons and statement of claim against the Defendants cl...
