JUDGMENT On 14TH April 2015, this Writ was issued and the following reliefs were claimed. a) A declaration that the Defendant is in breach of the fundamental covenant of the lease dated 10th February 2006 to use the land for residential purposes only. b) Recovery of Possession of the land as a result of the breach c) General Damages for breach of covenant. d) Cost e) Any other reliefs By the Statement of claim that accompanied the writ of summons, the plaintiff pleaded that he is head of the Addo-Engman Family of Osu Asante Blohum in Accra and it is on behalf of that family that he has instituted this action. By the pleading, the defendant approached the Addo-Engman Family to lease a parcel of land at Kotobabi to her, and a portion of the land as described in the schedule was leased to her for 99 years.
