JUDGMENT The plaintiff is a German Company in the business of frozen meat suppliers. Its business with the defendant, a Ghanaian Company had however gone sour as a result of defendant’s failure or refusal to pay for certain consignment of meat products shipped to Ghana in the name of the defendant. The plaintiff therefore claims against the defendant as follows; a. Recovery of an amount of $264,989.22 being the outstanding balance due on several consignments of frozen meat products delivered to the defendant on CIF terms to Tema, Accra. b. Interest on the afore-mentioned amount set at the prevailing commercial rate from 21/01/14 till date of final judgment. c. Cost on full indemnity basis. CASE OF THE PLAINTIFF It is the case of the plaintiff that it supplies frozen meat products internationally and it is registered under the laws of the Republic of Germany.
