RULING This is an application in relation to a preliminary objection to dismiss this suit filed on 1st of September 2016, for want of jurisdiction on grounds that it is “a cause or matter affecting chieftaincy.” The reliefs endorsed on the writ are as follows; I. A declaration that the first plaintiff is the Korle Wulomo and head of the Korle family or head of Korle We. II. A declaration that the purported removal of the first plaintiff as Korle Wulomo by the first defendant is null and void and of no legal effect. III. A declaration that the purported installation of the 2nd defendant as Korle Wulomo by the first defendant is null and void. IV. An order of perpetual injunction restraining the 2nd defendant from acting or purporting to act as Korle Wulomo. V. An order ejecting the 2nd defendant from the Korle shrine.
