JUDGMENT On the 9th of December, 2014, the Plaintiff issued a writ of summons and statement of claim seeking the following reliefs; a. The sum of GH₵16,186.63 being the cost of repairs of Toyota Avensis vehicle number GM 9227-13. b. The sum of GH₵76,896 being the cost of alternative transport. THE PLAINTIFF’S CASE; The facts of the case are that the Plaintiff is a High Court Judge in Accra and was on the 22nd of March, 2014 in possession of Toyota Avensis vehicle number GM 9227-13, a vehicle assigned to her by the Judicial Service. It is the case of the Plaintiff that on the said date, she was driving her vehicle on the Spintex Road, in the direction of the Tetteh Quarshie Interchange and that while approaching a Goil Filling Station on her left, she indicated a left turn to the station and the line of oncoming vehicles in the opposite lane stopped to give her way.
