I have decided to adjourn the case to 15th February, 2018 in view of the fact that the Sector Minister Hon. Mustapha Hamid wrote a letter for the attention of the court dated 21st July, 2017 committing the payment of the judgment debt by the state. In order to facilitate the smooth payment of the debt by GBC/ the state, the application for reserve price is put on hold. If by the 15th January, 2018, GBC and he State has not made any meaningful effort to retire the judgment debt, the Plaintiff/Judgment/Creditor may cause a fresh valuation of the property under attachment and add the cost of valuation to the judgment debt for the motion to be taken on the 15th February, 2018. In the alternative, GBC may cause a fresh valuation to be done and file same by the 10th January, 2018 should the debt be outstanding by the end of December, 2017. Case is accordingly adjourned to 15th February, 2018.
