By a writ of summons issued on the 11th day of April 2016, the Plaintiff claims against the Defendant: (a) The payment of the sum of One Million, Nine Hundred and Twenty-Five Thousand, Five Hundred and Ninety-Three Ghana Cedis and Six Pesewas (GH¢1,925,593.06). (b) Interest on the sum of One Million, Nine Hundred and Twenty-Five Thousand, Five Hundred and Ninety-Three Ghana Cedis and Six Pesewas (GH¢1,925,593.06) from February 2015 till date of final payment. (c) Costs. After the service of the writ and its accompanying statement of claim and after the close of pleadings and the eventual failure of pre-trial settlement proceedings, the matter was referred to trial.
