The court has considered the application for injunction filed by the applicants herein against the respondents. In view of the depositions in the affidavits in support and in opposition as well as the supplementary affidavits and all the exhibits attached, the court is of the view that it is not possible for the application to be dealt with, without a discussion of matters or issues which may affect the substantive matter pending before the court. For this reason, the court has decided that instead of deciding on the motion for interlocutory injunction, it will rather give consideration to an expeditious hearing of the substantive case before the court. The case will, therefore, be set down for hearing on the 20th of December, 2017. The lawyers for the parties are, therefore, ordered to file their statement of case in respect of the substantive case latest by the 15th day of December, 2017 so that the case may be heard on the 20th day of December, 2017.
