Per her amended writ of summons and statement of claim filed at the Registry of the High Court, Accra, the Plaintiff’s claim against the Defendant is for: i. A declaration that the Akan customary Law marriage between the plaintiff and Frimpong Manso Asua (deceased) was still subsisting at the Death of Frimpong Manso Asua. ii. Declaration that as a wife, Plaintiff is entitled to be one of the applicant for L/A in the deceased’s estate. iii. A declaration that the ordinance marriage entered into between Frimpong Manso Asuo (deceased) and Rebecca Frimpong on the 12th September, 2000 is null and void and of no effect as the customary Law marriage between Manso Asuo (deceased) and the plaintiff was still subsisting at the time iv.
