JUDGMENT The Plaintiff, James Ohene Nketia, caused his lawyer to issue a writ of summons against the Defendants for declaration of title to the land in dispute, an order of injunction to restrain defendants from interfering with plaintiff’s quiet enjoyment of his land, recovery of possession and general damages. In the accompanying Statement of Claim, the Plaintiff asserted that he is a businessman who resides in Accra. According to the Plaintiff, in May 2005, he acquired a parcel of land measuring sixteen acres from the Nii Akwanor Family of Ashalaja. As evidence of the said transaction, a conveyance was executed in his favour. Subsequently, the said conveyance was registered at the Lands Registry and indexed as No. AR/8471A/2005. He claimed that from the time he acquired the land in dispute, he has remained in uninterrupted possession of it, until recently, when he noticed that the defendants, whom he did not know, were making adverse claims to the land by developing parts of i.....
