JUDGMENT TERMS OF SETTLEMENT WHEREAS: 1. The Plaintiff sued the Defendant in a writ dated 21st January, 2016 claiming the following: (a) The sum of One Hundred and Twenty-Seven Thousand, Seven Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢127,700.00) as compensation due to Plaintiff following the Defendant’s acquisition of his two parcels of land for mining operations. (b) Interest on the sum of One Hundred and Twenty-Seven Thousand, Seven Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢127,700.00) at the prevailing commercial bank rate from 7th August, 2014 till date of final payment. 2. In a Ruling dated 22nd May, 2017, the trial Court granted the parties time to comply with requirements of Section 2 of the Minerals and Mining (Compensation and Resettlement) Regulations, 2012 L. I. 2175. 3.
